In a light-hearted yet historically accurate indicator, former President Donald Trump received promising news regarding his third run for the White House. A recent “cookie poll” conducted by a Cincinnati-based bakery has shown Trump pulling ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, boosting confidence in his supporters as he aims for another term.
Busken Bakery, which has accurately predicted the outcomes of every presidential election since 1984, revealed their latest tally showing Trump receiving 54% support with 2,953 cookies sold in his name. In contrast, Vice President Kamala Harris received 39%, amounting to 2,134 cookies. Additionally, an “independent” smiley-face cookie garnered 7%, or 397 cookies, according to a report from the New York Post.

As Election Day approaches, the bakery plans to keep the cookie poll open for what they humorously refer to as “early voting” by customers with a sweet tooth. “We like to joke and say [customers] can stuff the ballot box,” said Dan Busken, president and CEO of Busken Bakery, in an interview with the New York Post.
