The Trump administration is wasting little time in reshaping the federal intelligence apparatus.
Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte has begun a significant restructuring effort inside the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), removing political appointees and returning dozens of intelligence personnel to their original agencies as part of a broader effort to streamline government operations.
The changes come as President Donald Trump continues pushing for a leaner federal bureaucracy and greater accountability across Washington’s sprawling intelligence community.
