The pursuit of justice has been completed. Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old man accused in one of Idaho’s most gruesome murders, the November deaths of four college students, was ultimately caught by law enforcement on December 30. This arrest brought this case full circle and gave many impacted by these horrific events closure.
Indiana police enforcement followed the Kohbergers on a road vacation and pulled them over twice. Hancock County Sheriff’s Department claims that Bryan was following too closely when the first incident happened at 10:41 am. Then, nine minutes later, they were stopped for the same reasons by an Indiana State Police officer, and that confrontation was captured on spectacular video!
Idaho police nabbed Kohberger on charges of brutally killing four University of Idaho students after a relentless month-long manhunt. While Xana Kernodle and Kaylee Goncalves were 20 years old when they sadly perished from the attacker’s blade, Madison Mogen and Ethan Chapin were both 21.
The suspect quickly relocated to Pullman, Washington after earning his master’s degree in criminal justice from DeSales University. Pullman is just fifteen minutes away from the scene of two horrifying killings. With such close closeness arousing both suspicion and interest, it was obvious that this graduate had an exciting beginning to his post-college life.
Kohberger accepted to be returned to his home country on Tuesday, January 3. This will start a series of events that will eventually result in Idaho officials opening the case’s supporting probable cause affidavit to examine what information it contains. It’s unclear how long it will take for him to finish this process and learn the truth about the enigma that has surrounded him so far.
