Texas authorities have arrested three illegal aliens accused of turning busy North Texas roadways into shooting ranges, then allegedly posting the chaos online for the world to see.
The disturbing cases involve gunfire on a major Dallas freeway and a separate road rage attack that reportedly put a family with children in the line of fire. Police say social media videos were the key that cracked both investigations.
Gunfire Erupts Over Downtown Dallas
The first incident unfolded on New Year’s Eve above Interstate 30 on the Margaret McDermott Bridge, a heavily traveled span near downtown Dallas. According to investigators, two men opened fire from the bridge, sending bullets raining down onto the freeway below.
The reckless shooting was not subtle. Detectives later recovered more than 100 shell casings scattered across the scene. Authorities say the shooters recorded the gunfire and posted the footage online, where it quickly spread and drew outrage nationwide.
