The left loves to lecture Americans daily about keeping dangerous weapons off the streets. Yet when given a real chance to act, they hand criminals a piece of paper and let them walk.
That failure turned deadly for a decorated Army combat veteran. Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, a hero and mentor, was gunned down in his own classroom because the Biden Justice Department deemed an apology letter sufficient punishment for a serial illegal weapons dealer.

Lt. Col. Shah dedicated his life to serving America. Enlisting in 2003, he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, earning two Bronze Stars along the way. After his combat service, he guided the next generation of military leaders as an ROTC instructor at Old Dominion University.
On March 12, 2026, a convicted ISIS supporter, Mohamed Jalloh, entered Shah’s classroom, confirmed it was an ROTC class, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and opened fire. Shah was shot multiple times and later died at the hospital.
Two other servicemembers were injured, but brave ROTC cadets tackled Jalloh with their bare hands, stopping an even larger tragedy.
