Liberal horror author Stephen King just landed himself in a nightmare of his own making. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination, King fired off a reckless and defamatory post that may cost him millions in court. Now, after an avalanche of backlash, he’s frantically trying to walk it back.

A Smear With No Basis
Instead of offering condolences or showing respect to Kirk’s grieving family, King spewed venom. Without a shred of evidence, he smeared the Turning Point USA founder by writing: “He advocated stoning gays to death. Just sayin’.”
No context. No receipts. Just a vile hit-job designed to tarnish a man who spent his career standing against the radical Left.
Conservative Leaders Hit Back Hard
The response was immediate—and unforgiving. Senator Ted Cruz blasted King as a “horrible, evil, twisted liar.” Cruz reminded Americans that it wasn’t Kirk, but the Democrat Party, who sent money overseas to regimes that truly persecute homosexuals.
