Stacey Abrams’ 2018 Georgia gubernatorial campaign received a disfavorable judgement from a federal court recently, demanding payment after allegations of fraud were refuted.
The Washington Free Beacon covered Stacey Abrams’ allegations of election fraud against Republican incumbent Brian Kemp in 2018. She was running for governor of Georgia at the time. The discussion that ensued was heated as each party presented their position.

A federal court issued a significant decision on Tuesday requiring Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight Action organization to pay Georgia’s legal bills in the sum of $230,000.
See what was reported by the Washington Free Beacon:
Following a close defeat in the 2018 election, Abrams founded Fair Fight Action, which engaged in a four-year court fight to refute charges of voter disenfranchisement. Despite their best efforts, they were eventually unsuccessful; after months of consideration, a federal court decided against them despite the absence of any concrete evidence supporting the suppression of minority votes.
As a result of Fair Fight Action’s lawsuit against Georgia’s state government defense efforts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Tuesday issued a bill of costs requiring the organization to pay back $192,628.85 in transcription costs and an additional $38,674.86 in copying costs.

Fair Fight Action made news in October as their finances became a focus of inquiry, with reports suggesting over $25 million being spent on costly legal bills for the 2019-2020 time period. In the run-up to the election season’s unsuccessful lawsuit effort within Georgia’s borders, this included an eye-catching $9.4 million to a legal practice owned by Allegra Lawrence Hardy, a friend and chairperson for Stacey Abrams’ two gubernatorial campaigns.
Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger praised a significant choice that will have long-term effects in a resounding support.
“Stacey Abrams’s voter suppression claims were false. It has never been easier to vote and harder to cheat in the state of Georgia,” he said in a statement. “This is a start, but I think Stacey Abrams should pay back the millions of taxpayer dollars the state was forced to spend to disprove her false claims.”
Stacey Abrams recently said during a tell-all interview with Drew Barrymore that she “will run again” for governor despite her last attempt having failed. She obviously has an unquenchable enthusiasm for politics!
“So, what’s next? Are you going to run again?” Barrymore said. “Do we get to look forward to this and galvanize again?”
“I will likely run again,” Abrams replied.
Yes!” Barrymore yelled.
Barrymore seemed to fuel the fire by claiming that she would face “some tough men who don’t always play fair,”
“Well, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. If it doesn’t work, you try again,” Abrams said.
