In reaction to the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act, GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy promises to reduce funds for 87,000 additional IRS agents. He unveiled his strategy in Pennsylvania at the same time as his party’s platform. There will be a vote to stop using federal money to pay these agents.
