A shocking new account has surfaced about the man accused of assassinating conservative leader Charlie Kirk. A former high school friend of Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged in the brutal killing, revealed that Robinson was “pretty left on everything” and stood out as “the only member of his family that was really leftist.”
According to the friend, who requested anonymity in an interview with The Guardian, Robinson’s radical views became more extreme during his teenage years. “He would always just be ranting and arguing about them,” the friend recalled. While his family leaned strongly Republican, Robinson was the lone outlier — and apparently determined to prove it.
The two once bonded over video games, but even that pastime left a chilling connection to the crime. Robinson had engraved bullets with arrows — a detail the friend linked to a reference from the game Helldivers 2. The arrows, he explained, symbolized a command in the game to “call in a big bomb that exists… called the 500 kilogram.” The eerie overlap between fantasy and reality left him shaken when he saw Robinson’s name in the headlines.
