Recently, liberal comedian Jimmy Kimmel was attacked by “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast’s presenter Joe Rogan for saying that wokeness is killing comedy.
“The problem with that kind of stuff is it continues to go in the same direction where more and more things become forbidden and toxic,” Rogan said. “To the point where, you know, the Elon Musk joking around about my pronouns are ‘prosecute/Fauci,’ Jimmy Kimmel made a tweet back to him, he said, ‘your pronouns are a**/hole,’ which is pretty funny.”

“And so then I read that and there’s people saying, ‘Please don’t joke about pronouns. It’s transphobic to joke about pronouns,’” he added. “So they were chiding him for participating in a joke about pronouns. … Yes, so they were upset at him, even though he was attacking the appropriate person, he was doing it in a manner which is also construed as being transphobic. Like, they were talking, they were saying that his tweet is transphobic.”
Rogan then brought up Kimmel’s history during a “The Man Show,” saying, “I mean, he’s done some pretty outrageous s*** back in the day, you know, for hehes and hahas.”
“He’s had a real problem with Elon from the beginning of this, but it’s like he’s in this leftist thought bubble, he’s in the most leftist thought bubble available, which is Hollywood,” Rogan said. “And, you know, I think also, you know, he famously, there’s some videos of him in blackface and those came out and he had apologized for them. And I think he took that hit and like really doubled down the other direction.”

The ever-thoughtful podcast presenter Joe Rogan recently lamented our society’s propensity for excessive regulation and censorship. He reflected on how even a playful joke like “my pronouns are ‘prosecute/Fauci'” may be seen as banned or poisonous in the current context, giving Elon Musk as an example. Jimmy Kimmel responded to him via Twitter, writing: “your pronouns are ‘a**/hole,’” it is rather humorous. After reading it, I saw that several individuals were commenting, “Please don’t joke about pronouns. It’s transphobic to joke about pronouns.” He made a joke about pronouns, but even though his objective was proper, some people were offended by it. They contend that he may have come off as insensitive and transphobic in the manner he presented himself.

The one and only Jimmy Kimmel, without a doubt! He is a mainstay of late night television and is well recognized for his amusing humor on “The Man Show.” This guy seems to have a lengthy history of extreme conduct. In Hollywood, he seems to have recently adopted an extreme left-wing worldview and has since apologized profusely for his past transgressions, including wearing blackface. This may help to explain why they are so vocally opposed to Elon Musk, who often expresses unsettling viewpoints or unbans individuals from Twitter – both of which are debatable but may spark some interesting discussions.
