The walls may finally be closing in on John Bolton. Federal authorities have confirmed the bombshell discovery of highly classified documents seized from the former national security advisor’s Washington, D.C. office.
According to court filings, the raid—carried out earlier this year—turned up multiple sensitive records, including some labeled “secret.” Bolton, who once worked closely with President Donald Trump before breaking ties and publicly criticizing him, is now facing serious legal trouble over the materials agents say they found.
Investigators revealed that the documents involve high-level topics: weapons of mass destruction, U.S. diplomatic missions to the United Nations, and confidential communications channels used by top officials.
Shockingly, at least one heading on the recovered materials was so sensitive that it was completely redacted before being made public. The FBI has not released the exact number of documents seized, raising even more questions about what Bolton had tucked away in his office.
