A mother in Pittsburgh is outraged after learning that her 17-year-old daughter was pulled out of class and pressured to register to vote, all without parental consent. The incident has ignited fury, with the mother claiming that the school went as far as to push a political agenda onto her daughter, advising that “if Donald Trump was elected, Black people would be doomed.”
The mother, Kay Montana, took to TikTok to share her frustration, and her video has since gone viral. In her post, Montana detailed how her daughter, Nyla, was subjected to what she described as political indoctrination within the school system. “My 17-year-old daughter was pulled out of class and told she needed to register to vote. Not only was she told how to register, she was told who she should vote for,” Montana said, alarmed at the events that unfolded.

“What gives the school the right to pull my daughter out of class and tell her who to vote for?” Montana questioned, expressing her disbelief. “I am her mother, and I have yet to have this conversation with her about the upcoming election. I have not signed any consent forms allowing my daughter to register to vote at school.”
