Despite his efforts, several swing states are resisting his request, leaving him with little choice but to pursue legal action.

Kennedy filed a lawsuit in Wake County Superior Court on Friday, challenging the Board’s refusal to grant his request to remove his name from the ballot as a third-party presidential candidate. The suit, which was first reported by The News & Observer and WRAL, argues that the Board’s decision violates both state election law and Kennedy’s right to free speech.
