In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Daily, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) shares shocking information regarding Dr. Fauci. Senator Paul claims that he has submitted Dr. Fauci for prosecution for lying to Congress to the Department of Justice. Despite first viewing Dr. Fauci as an impartial authority and giving him the benefit of the doubt, Senator Paul now thinks that something needs to be done.
Dr. Fauci, a well-known figure in the effort to combat the coronavirus epidemic, has come to the strong conviction that Dr. Rand Paul, a physician-turned-senator, is being dishonest and seeking to withhold critical information. Senator Paul made the decision to refer a recent email that sheds light on a phone call from 2020 to the Department of Justice after several interactions with Fauci.

The Republican senator correctly noted that questions regarding the virus’s origin were raised in the early phases of the pandemic study. He raised his concerns in an email about the virus’s potential for manipulation, taking into account its connection to a Wuhan lab where gain of function research is carried out. He gave a thorough explanation of the relevant research.
“Well, this directly contradicts everything he said in committee hearing to me, denying absolutely that they funded any gain of function, and it’s absolutely a lie” observed Senator Paul.
He went on to claim that there is an “exchange of emails between Anthony Fauci and half a dozen prominent international virologists, and these emails go back and forth…These virologists from around the world are saying, they’re looking at the genetic sequence of COVID-19, and they find that there are some striking, strikingly unusual characteristics of it that make it look like it’s been manipulated in the lab.”
It was further explained by Dr. Paul that “his band of close virologists that are his close buddies-and these are all people who have previously advocated gain of function research, creating viruses that don’t occur in nature to experiment with—they all tell him it looks manipulative.”
The Kentucky Republican claims that on February 1, 2020, Dr. Fauci and his associates spoke on the phone to discuss the current situation. Dr. Fauci outlined the details of that phone call in an email that was obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and with the help of the House through the threat of a subpoena. Although he is not a virologist, Dr. Fauci voiced the worries of virologists, including himself, in the email over the manipulation of the situation. The senator has disclosed this information.
