Stellantis Pulls the Plug
On Friday, Stellantis announced it was scrapping the highly touted Ram 1500 REV all-electric truck after years of hype, delays, and shifting promises.
The reason wasn’t technical glitches or factory shortages. It was the simple fact that demand never materialized. Stellantis admitted slowing interest in electric trucks made the project impossible to justify.
Translation? Everyday Americans who rely on trucks for real work weren’t buying into the green fantasy coming out of Washington.
