Despite early optimism for the Biden administration, recent polling data indicates a sobering reality: under President Joe Biden’s leadership, a record percentage of Americans are experiencing financial difficulty. It is evident that a majority of Americans are unhappy with the direction that the president of the United States and his congressional supporters have taken the country.
The plurality of Americans (41%) feel their financial condition has become worse since President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post survey. This is the largest percentage in more than three decades. Comparatively, 16% said they were in a better position than when he took office.

The most recent survey shows that Donald Trump has a significant lead over Joe Biden despite his divisive words and ideas. Four times as many people (25%) said their financial circumstances had worsened since he took office, although 48% indicated they would vote for him in the next election, only 4 points below 50%.
Republicans and Independents who participated in President Biden’s most recent survey expressed worry that their financial situation has deteriorated since the previous administration. Independents now feel three times as financially behind as they did throughout Trump’s administration, increasing from 11% to 39%. The vast majority of Republicans—70%—agree with this assessment, but 12% of Democrats also say they feel more economically insecure.
In reaction to Biden’s dismal poll results, Laura Ingram tweeted, “Wages and optimism were up during Trump. Negligible inflation. Cheap, abundant energy. Biden & the Climate Crazies want a lower standard of living to be your new normal. Record numbers of people are worse off, a recipe for political discontent.”

The future of the Democratic Party is unclear as a recent survey indicates that people may be leery of Joe Biden’s 2024 presidential bid owing to his advanced age. It is unclear which direction they will take as they attempt to win the next election since it is getting closer and the party is debating various options.
An ABC News/Ipsos survey found that over half of Democrats and Independents who lean Democratic would prefer to choose a different candidate for the party at their 2024 primary. Biden receives 44% of their support for his campaign, but just 42% of them were satisfied with his work performance, and 53% were not.
According to a recent Fox News survey, 80% of Americans have unfavorable opinions about the nation’s direction and are becoming more concerned about the present state of the economy. The majority of this opinion, which is shared by Democrats but has now been adopted by all parties, is dissatisfaction, with 73% of respondents. The findings demonstrate one thing clearly: America first measures that can restore faith in our country’s future are urgently needed.
