Texas Democratic state Rep. James Talarico has pulled ahead of U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the state’s Democratic Senate primary, according to fresh polling released Thursday.
The latest Emerson College Polling/Nexstar Media survey shows Talarico leading Crockett by nine points, 47 percent to 38 percent, with 15 percent of likely Democratic primary voters still undecided.

Talarico, who has raised over $13 million since his campaign launch in September, has drawn strong backing from Hispanic and white voters, securing nearly 60 percent support from each group. Crockett, meanwhile, dominated among Black voters, capturing 80 percent of that demographic, the poll indicated.
