Obama Blasted Over Charlie Kirk Comments!

The nation was stunned Wednesday when Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University. Former President Barack Obama quickly responded, posting a message on social media that many are now calling “tone-deaf.”

In his tweet, Obama wrote, “We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.” While the message offered condolences, critics say it failed to recognize the gravity of the political climate that may have contributed to the attack.

Fox News contributor and Outkick founder Clay Travis was swift to condemn Obama’s remarks, suggesting that the former president’s rhetoric over the past decade has helped create an environment in which violence against conservatives is emboldened.
