The New York Times just got called out in a big way—again. This time, the so-called “paper of record” tried to twist a Supreme Court victory for immigration enforcement into something dark and sinister.
But the truth didn’t stay hidden for long. A Trump-era DHS spokesperson quickly stepped in and crushed the Times’ narrative with one powerful fact that left the liberal media scrambling.
When Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin saw the Times’ coverage of the Supreme Court ruling on ICE operations in Los Angeles, she wasn’t about to let the misinformation slide.
The high court had just sided with the Trump administration, removing limits a Biden-appointed judge had placed on immigration enforcement. Instead of reporting the facts, the Times tried to make it sound like the decision gave ICE permission to conduct random “indiscriminate stops.”
