The city has reportedly offered to reserve 1,025 hotel rooms for immigrants for a duration of 36 months, according to a report from Minute Mirror. The price is set at $200 every day, for a total of $225 million over the course of three years.

An unnamed contractor recruited only a week earlier says that their group was entrusted with making sure the plumbing was appropriate for what would become new residential rooms.
