A public school district in Rhode Island is under fire after attempting to slap a staggering six-figure price tag on a mother who simply wanted to know what a controversial teacher had been feeding students for the last decade and a half.
The district’s behavior looks less like transparency and more like a frantic cover-up.
Teacher Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s Death — On Camera
The controversy ignited when Barrington High School teacher Benjamin Fillo uploaded a TikTok video just hours after Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk tragically died. In the disturbing clip, Fillo mocked Kirk’s final moments, declaring “the big man… thought he proved how tough he was with his words that he studied ahead of time,” and then adding “this is what happens” when white men have guns.
He punctuated the video with one final jab: “Bye Charlie!”
