Daily Beast Caves Under Legal Pressure
The fake story — based on claims from liberal author Michael Wolff — alleged that Epstein played a key role in introducing Donald Trump to Melania during the 1990s. The outlet amplified the rumor despite having no credible evidence, repeating Wolff’s wild statement that Epstein was “very involved” in their introduction.
