During a heated House Financial Services Committee hearing on Wednesday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) revealed what many conservatives have long suspected—Democrats are deeply unsettled by Elon Musk and his growing influence, especially when it comes to the federal government and its finances.
Elon Musk, known for shaking up industries and challenging the status quo, dropped a bombshell on Tuesday when he announced that DOGE, his financial watchdog group, would begin investigating federal government employees who have mysteriously amassed millions of dollars in wealth while living on taxpayer-funded salaries.

“We do find it sort of rather odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who have essentially a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position,” Musk stated bluntly.
