Jack Dorsey’s influence on the tech sector is comparable to that of Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose presence is frequently felt in Washington, D.C. Jack will continue to be a significant figure among those influencing technology and politics from the Capitol Hill dais.
The world of Twitter has been upended by Elon Musk! Anything and everything is being cleansed from the corporation in a frenzied fire sale, including free lunches, expensive espresso makers, and even concealed censoring systems from past governments. Don’t worry, though; Johnson and Ligma are still on board.

The “Twitter Files” have now been made public after a number of damaging internal documents were leaked by Elon Musk and examined by journalists in recent weeks. These documents have illuminated important facets of Twitter’s censorship and moderation practices.
It was confirmed on Thursday by a cache of documents that suggested Twitter has “shadow banned” conservative leaders. Particularly notable for Jack Dorsey and his legal team was this discovery. These documents were provided by former New York Times reporter Bari Weiss, who may have discovered a disturbing truth regarding social media censorship.
As Dictionary.com defines it, shadow banning is “a practice used in online moderation that consists of preventing a user’s content from being seen by others — either partially or totally — without the user being notified or aware of it.” Twitter swore it wasn’t happening, especially not to conservative figures — and the establishment media was happy enough to play along.
With their shocking discovery, Weiss upended long-held assumptions.
Political leaders and influencers from all sides of the political spectrum were affected by shadow bans, including conservative student organization founder Charlie Kirk, outspoken broadcaster Dan Bongino, and Stanford professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya.
Four years ago, when Jack Dorsey testified before Congress to refute claims that conservative celebrities were being singled out for shadow banning, he stirred some controversy.
In his opening remarks at the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing in September 2018, then-chair Rep. Greg Walden, an Oregon Republican, noted that “in July, it was reported that some politically prominent users were no longer appearing as auto-populated options in certain search results.”
“This led to concerns that the service might be, quote, unquote, ‘shadow banning’ some users in an attempt to limit their visibility on the site,” Walden said.
“Now, this was hardly the first instance of a social media service taking actions which appeared to minimize or de-emphasize certain viewpoints, and in the most recent case, Twitter has stated that the actions were not intentional but, rather, the result of algorithms designed to maintain a more civil tone on the site.”
Later in the hearing, Democrat Rep. Mike Doyle of Pennsylvania gave Dorsey a chance to set the record straight.
“I think it’s important for people to understand — you know, the premise of this whole hearing and the reason that Twitter somehow, with all the other social media platforms out there, got the singular honor to sit in front of this committee is because there is some implication that your site is trying to censor conservative voices on your platform,” an exasperated Doyle said, not without a hint of sarcasm.
“Now, when you tried to explain the shadow banning — as I understand it — you had a system where if people who were following people had some behaviors, that was the trigger that allowed — that caused you to do the shadow banning,” he continued.
“So you were really like an equal opportunity shadow banner, right? You didn’t just shadow ban four conservative Republicans. You shadow banned 600,000 people across your entire platform, across the globe who had people following them that had certain behaviors that caused you to downgrade them coming up. Is that correct?”
“Correct,” Dorsey responded.
“So this was never targeted at conservative Republicans. This was targeted to a group of 600,000 people because of the people who followed them, and then you determined that wasn’t fair, and you corrected that practice,” Doyle said. “Is that correct?”
“Correct,” Dorsey responded, again.
“So just for the record, since you have been singled out as a social media platform before this committee, Twitter undertook no behavior to selectively censor conservative Republicans or conservative voices on your platform,” Doyle said. “Is that correct?
Again: “Correct.”
“Good. So let the record reflect that because that’s the whole reason supposedly we’re here, because House Leader Kevin McCarthy wrote our chairman a letter and said, ‘Hey, this is going on and we think your committee should investigate it,’ and it’s a load of crap,” Doyle said.
The Democrats have mastered the art of fabricating “facts,” and it only takes them four years to turn a crazy conspiracy theory into reality. All thanks to the influence of Musk’s purchase of Twitter, which opened up new doors while exposing left-wing goals and censoring tactics.
Twitter’s harsh response against the well-known TikTok account Libs is the epitome of how unrelenting and quick social media censorship can be.
A recent contrast was drawn between tweets that revealed and inaccurately insulted the lady who created the TikTok account Libs and others that merely expressed her opinions. It exposed the regrettable fact that hate speech can be easily circulated on social media instead of igniting debate.
A startling revelation emerged following Dorsey’s testimony: the platform has been acting similarly in private all along. We can now see what has actually been occurring behind closed doors from the inside.
One question still remains after numerous Twitter users speculated about @jack’s knowledge of the shadow-banning situation and when he was aware of it.
Because he denied American involvement in dubious scientific practices at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, Dr. Fauci may find himself in serious legal trouble. This is especially true given that evidence suggests he was aware that these practices were intended to support conservative accounts, which is illegal.
Despite significant similarities between the Anthony Fauci case and the one involving Jack Dorsey, it is difficult to prove any legal wrongdoing. Even though a court lawsuit involving both sides would be ideal for those who received the short end of the stick in this situation, it appears more likely to remain in our imaginations than to come to pass in actual legal processes.
Rep. Mike Doyle is another another gullible fool who believed that “shadow-banning” was only chatter before being corrected by conservatives using social media under the Trump administration. It’s a great illustration of how even people in positions of authority may unintentionally reveal their hand and look silly by making unproven statements!
We had it right when we said that they would finally pay a high price for their stupidity.
