The Lincoln Project, notorious for its relentless opposition to Donald Trump, has once again taken drastic measures in its ongoing battle against the former president. Known for their deep-seated animosity toward Trump, the group has called on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to launch an immediate investigation into what they allege is a blatant violation of federal law by Trump.
In a letter addressed to Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Lincoln Project’s General Counsel, Mario Nicolais, demanded that the DOJ probe whether Trump breached 18 U.S.C. § 599 and 18 U.S.C. § 600 by allegedly offering a Cabinet position to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) in exchange for his endorsement in the 2024 presidential election.

The Lincoln Project, whose founding members include individuals previously embroiled in significant scandals, is framing this latest accusation as part of a broader pattern of Trump’s alleged misconduct.
