The Federal Reserve finally pulled the trigger on a long-anticipated rate cut this week. But the move did little to silence critics – and one Trump ally in particular had no patience for what he sees as a broken system.
Larry Kudlow, the former economic adviser to President Trump, unleashed a scathing takedown of the Fed after its quarter-point rate cut, demanding nothing less than a full overhaul of the central bank’s policies and leadership.
Appearing on Fox Business’s The Big Money Show, Kudlow wasted no time calling for big changes.
“We need a completely different Fed. We need, from top to bottom,” Kudlow said, blasting the institution’s leadership and approach to monetary policy.
