Vice President Kamala Harris raised eyebrows with what some are calling her “worst word salad yet,” during an interview where she attempted to compare former President Donald Trump’s rhetoric to the alignment of stars. The confusing analogy left many scratching their heads and provided fresh fodder for critics of the vice president.
Harris made the baffling remarks while appearing on a podcast hosted by former CNN commentator Roland Martin, which was posted online on Monday. During the discussion, Martin suggested that Trump’s past criticisms of cities like Detroit, Milwaukee, Oakland, Washington, D.C., and Chicago stem from the large black populations in these areas.

“He’s singling out cities where there are significant African Americans, and that’s who he is talking about — black people,” Martin stated firmly, prompting Harris to respond immediately.
