In a dramatic turn of events at a recent rally for former President Donald Trump, a Secret Service sniper achieved the seemingly impossible, neutralizing a would-be assassin with a precise “one-in-a-million” shot. This revelation came from Fox News, which confirmed that a third weapon was indeed fired during the attempted assassination.
According to Fox News correspondent Bryan Llenas, the Secret Service counter-sniper managed to take out the assailant, Thomas Matthew Crooks, with a single shot. “A source familiar with the investigation tells me that, look, it took a single shot to kill the would-be assassin Thomas Crooks. And that shot came from a Secret Service counter-sniper that the source says he described the shot as a one-in-a-million type of shot,” Llenas reported. The sniper’s target was barely visible, as only the top of Crooks’ scope, his eye, and forehead were exposed above the lip of the building he was on.

The investigation revealed that Crooks was targeted by multiple snipers during the chaos. A local police counter-sniper team also fired at Crooks but missed. This was the source of the third weapon audio experts had detected earlier. “Federal law enforcement sources tell Fox that while Crooks snuck up on that roof, a Butler Township Emergency Services unit sniper team was looking out of the windows of that same building watching for any suspicious activity.”
