Just In: DHS Siege Ends in Arrests!

Several cities across the country erupted in chaos Saturday evening as far-left mobs targeted Department of Homeland Security (DHS) facilities, with arrests reported in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Portland, Oregon. The unrest coincided with the latest wave of “No Kings” protests aimed at the Trump Administration, which have grown increasingly violent.

In Los Angeles, the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building became a central flashpoint. The building, which houses key DHS operations, was surrounded by roughly 1,000 protesters, according to DHS statements. The crowd quickly escalated into a violent mob, prompting immediate federal intervention.

Anthony Cabassa, an on-the-ground reporter, captured footage of the chaos: rioters were “tossing rocks, chunks of cement and other projectiles at officers” before authorities declared an unlawful assembly. Cabassa also noted that “multiple people were visibly injured in the clashes,” highlighting the dangerous intensity of the confrontation.

Federal officers deployed tear gas, rubber bullets, and other crowd control munitions to disperse the mob. Meanwhile, a separate skirmish unfolded at the nearby Metropolitan Detention Center. Protesters banged on fences and hurled objects toward DHS personnel. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded swiftly, issuing dispersal orders and using tear gas to regain control.
