Josh Hawley Stunned by FBI at Trump Shooting Site

Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri recently recounted a dramatic encounter with the FBI during a visit to the site where former President Donald Trump was shot. Hawley, seeking to understand the circumstances of the incident, found himself in a tense situation as federal agents ordered him to leave the scene.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Hawley detailed the incident and shared his determination to uncover the truth. “As the Senate prepares for hearings, today I went to Butler County to see the site of the shooting myself — and FBI told me to leave. We need ANSWERS. I won’t stop pushing until we get them,” he wrote.

Hawley’s post included a video clip from his appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” show, where he discussed the incident with host Sean Hannity. “I’ll tell you one thing — today, Sean, when I went to the site, the FBI has got more security on that site now than they did the night that Trump was shot at,” he said during the interview.
