Vice President JD Vance isn’t holding back after MSNBC host Jen Psaki launched a bizarre and insulting attack on his wife, Usha Vance, during a recent podcast appearance. The former Biden press secretary’s comments quickly ignited outrage online, exposing once again how the Left’s so-called “champions of women” seem to have no problem demeaning conservative women who don’t align with their political ideology.
During an official visit to Israel on Thursday, Vance stood firm beside his wife and denounced Psaki’s comments as “disgraceful.” The vice president praised Usha, describing her as “a wonderful wife” and a strong woman who doesn’t need anyone to speak for her. “She can speak for herself,” Vance told reporters while the couple visited Jerusalem. Their three young children—Ewan, 8; Vivek, 5; and Mirabel, 3—remained at home during the trip.
Psaki’s remarks came during an episode of the “I’ve Had It” podcast, where she unleashed a series of personal insults against the vice president and his family. The MSNBC host described Vance as “a little Manchurian candidate” and suggested he was even more power-hungry than former President Donald Trump. But what really drew backlash was when Psaki took a swipe at Usha Vance, implying that she needed to be “rescued” from her own marriage.
