INTERCEPTED: Russian Aircrafts Near Alaska

A Russian plane was ejected from Alaskan skies on Thursday after two US F-35 fighter fighters intervened to safeguard US airspace. This was the second successful interception in less than 48 hours, demonstrating that actions against foreign military infractions would be conducted quickly and forcefully.

Concerns about any connection to previous reports of unknown aircraft coming nearby vanished when NORAD replied to an approaching Russian jet entering Alaska’s Air Defense Identification Zone and labeling the event as “routine.”

NORAD said, “This is the second intercept of Russian aircraft over two days. This Russian activity near the North American ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat, nor is the activity seen as provocative.”

An other illustration of the recent rise in global wars was the U.S. Air Force’s Monday intercept of four Russian military aircraft traveling over Alaska amid heightened tensions.

“The Alaskan Region of NORAD detected, tracked, positively identified and intercepted four Russian aircraft entering and operating within the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone on February 13, 2023,” NORAD said in a statement.

On Monday, three Russian aircraft that had violated Polish airspace were intercepted by Dutch F-35 fighters. The Netherlands’ military ministry handled the situation quickly and expertly, escorting the invaders away.

“The then unknown aircraft approached the Polish NATO area of responsibility from Kaliningrad,” The statement was translated.

“After identification, it turned out to be three aircraft: a Russian IL-20M Coot-A that was escorted by two Su-27 Flankers. The Dutch F-35s escorted the formation from a distance and handed over the escort to NATO partners.”

Russia is stepping up its military activities in a dangerous way as tensions rise and the crisis in Ukraine rages on.

Russia has re-entered the Baltic Sea with nuclear weapons after a thirty-year absence. This worrying increase in military activities in the area was just verified by the Norwegian Intelligence Agency.

“The key part of the nuclear potential is on the submarines and surface ships of the Northern Fleet,” the Norwegian intel said.

Look at what Politico said:

Warships from the Russian Federation’s Northern Fleet often sailed at sea while carrying nuclear bombs during the Cold War period; this practice is still going strong now.

In addition to its submarines, anti-satellite missiles, and cyber capabilities, Russia also threatens Norway and NATO by possessing powerful tactical nuclear weapons. “a particularly serious threat in several operational scenarios in which NATO countries may be involved,” the report said.

Norway’s intelligence services have issued a warning that a local conflict might turn into a global crisis, perhaps involving NATO, US, and Norwegian military.

In the near future, Russia is projected to preserve and expand its current nuclear arsenal, with its nuclear policy remaining fairly unchanged.

As the war between the government and rebels worsens, tensions in Ukraine are rising. All parties concerned hope for a calm conclusion to this lengthy deadlock as these tensions rise.

It is hardly surprising that Russia opted to equip itself with nuclear weapons given claims that Ukrainian forces are killing an estimated 1000 Russian soldiers every day.

As acknowledged by U.K. sources, Russia has suffered greatly as a result of the war between Ukrainian and Russian forces. Daily fatalities were believed to be as high as 824 servicemen during the onslaught in late January on the coal-mining region of Ukraine’s Vuhledar. Yet, despite their efforts in the middle of this severe battlefront circumstances, Ukrainian forces managed to effectively resist the onslaught that same month of January, killing or injuring nearly 5,000 Russians as a consequence.

“The 155th brigade already had to be restaffed three times. The first time after Irpin and Bucha; the second time they were defeated near Donetsk – they recovered again,” claimed Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, spokesperson for the Urkainian defense forces. “And now almost the entire brigade has already been destroyed near Vuhledar.”
