Los Angeles story takes a dramatic turn
One of the loudest accusations came out of Los Angeles, where media outlets claimed an ICE officer ripped a child from her parents and handed her to relatives injured and wearing a dirty diaper. The picture painted by those reports was designed to spark emotional outrage.
McLaughlin described what truly happened behind the scenes, and it was the exact opposite of what was reported.
“A U.S. citizen wielded a hammer at law enforcement and threw rocks at law enforcement while he had a child in his car. He also illegally had a gun.”
The child was not a victim of law enforcement. She was rescued from an armed adult who was attacking federal officers.
Media fueled violence is exploding
The fiction did not stay on screens. It spilled into the streets. McLaughlin revealed a shocking number that exposed the consequences of these manufactured narratives.
ICE agents are now receiving an eight thousand percent increase in death threats.
“We continually have the sanctuary city politicians, the media, going after our law enforcement as they are facing a historic number of assaults against them,” she said.
Another viral claim from Chicago insisted ICE agents pepper sprayed a child in a Sam’s Club parking lot. The story spread so rapidly that millions believed agents were launching chemical agents at families. DHS quickly corrected the lie.
“During an operation, rioters began throwing objects at agents and blocking the road. This did NOT occur in a Sam’s Club parking lot. Border Patrol deployed crowd control measures, and safely cleared the area.”
The pattern is undeniable. Adults attack federal officers and use children as human shields. The media then flips the story and blames the agents trying to restore order.
Democrat officials refuse to condemn violence
McLaughlin did not spare local politicians who stayed silent while federal officers were being swarmed and assaulted.
“Where is Brandon Johnson, the mayor of Chicago? Where is JB Pritzker, the governor condemning this?” she asked.
Both remain quiet despite the chaos unfolding in their cities.
“When did the Democrat Party become a party that was okay with assault and attack on law enforcement? Where do they go so wrong?” McLaughlin added.
The silence is strategic. Sanctuary politicians benefit from anti ICE hysteria because it shields their failed policies. Some even repeat hoaxes, like Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who publicly echoed a false kidnapping claim the Washington Free Beacon later reported was part of “an elaborate hoax” to solicit donations.
Operation Midway Blitz exposes the truth
The backlash intensified once President Trump launched Operation Midway Blitz in Chicago. The mission targets criminal illegal aliens who took advantage of Governor Pritzker’s sanctuary welcome mat. Instead of backing federal efforts to remove violent offenders, local leaders undermine them.
McLaughlin explained the danger agents now face.
“They are being stalked where their children go to school. Where their spouses work are being put on the dark web so that they can be targeted.”
Foreign terrorist groups have even begun placing bounties on the heads of American agents.
“That should not be a partisan issue, that should be an American issue, to back our law enforcement and protect them against foreign terrorists,” she said.
The media’s false stories about ICE agents assaulting children provide moral cover for extremists who want to see federal officers harmed. Each hoax triggers more hate, more violence, and more danger for the men and women enforcing immigration law.
As McLaughlin made clear, the lies are collapsing. The American people expect border security, not propaganda. The press may choose narratives over facts, but ICE agents continue doing the job they were hired to do.
