ICE Agent Won’t Face Charges — Chaos Erupts!

Federal investigators are moving closer to a decision in the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis woman during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation earlier this month — and all indications suggest criminal charges are unlikely.

According to officials familiar with the matter, the ICE agent involved in the Jan. 7 incident will likely not face prosecution, as investigators increasingly view the use of deadly force as legally justified. The shooting occurred during a targeted enforcement action in south Minneapolis and is currently being reviewed by the FBI, which is leading the federal investigation.

The agent involved has been identified as Jonathan Ross. The woman who was killed, Renee Nicole Good, was 37 years old at the time of her death. While the inquiry remains technically open, sources say momentum inside federal law enforcement is clearly shifting away from criminal accountability. A final determination has not yet been formally announced.

Authorities have stated that the shooting unfolded after Good allegedly drove her vehicle toward ICE agents as they attempted to carry out their operation. Law enforcement sources argue that this action created an imminent threat, prompting the agent to respond with deadly force.
