In response to the whistleblower allegations regarding the Whatsapp communications exchanged between Hunter Biden and his Chinese business contacts, the White House has taken a unique tack.
Hunter Biden did more than just talk with his Chinese friends about having a casual meal. According to a story, he has made a demand for a sizeable sum of $10 million and has threatened to use his father, Joe Biden, as leverage if his demands are not met.

In reaction to whistleblower evidence, Hunter Biden’s attorney Chris Clark issued a statement on Friday that included the following: “The DOJ investigation covered a period which was a time of turmoil and addiction for my client,” and adding, “Any verifiable words or actions of my client, in the midst of a horrible addiction, are solely his own and have no connection to anyone in his family.”
It appears that Clark’s remarks about Hunter Biden’s “horrible addiction” and his insistence that his client’s actions during that time were “solely his own” and unrelated to anyone in his family resemble an admission of guilt mixed with a defense and an effort to protect Joe Biden from accusations of involvement.

According to the U.K. Daily Mail’s discovery of leaked WhatsApp chats, on July 30, 2017, Hunter Biden sent a message to his business partner at the Chinese oil giant CEFC that alluded to Joe Biden’s suspected participation in their commercial transactions. According to the complaint, the communication was menacing.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Henry Zhao, a member of the Chinese Communist Party, received a letter from Hunter.
Zhao was allegedly warned by Hunter that if he didn’t comply with his instructions, “make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”
“I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father,” he added.
Four days later, Hunter Biden reportedly sent Kevin Dong, a colleague at CEFC, a message asking for a $10 million budget per year to support the expansion of their joint venture.

A picture of a person at Joe Biden’s lakefront estate in Delaware on July 30, 2017, was found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and acquired by The Daily Mail. This also happens to be the day when CEFC is said to have received a threatening WhatsApp message.
Bank documents provided to Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson show that on August 8, 2017, CEFC sent $5 million to Hudson West III, a business that is co-owned by Hunter Biden.
Over the course of a year, a total of $4.8 million is said to have been moved to Hunter’s own business, Owasco.
The whistleblowers claim that if the inquiry hadn’t been hampered, Hunter would have faced charges for more serious infractions including unlawful lobbying and breaches of campaign finance laws.
It has been claimed that the evidence suggests that the President knew about Hunter’s dubious international dealings and was personally involved in them.
Newsmax’s Washington correspondent James Rosen expressed his worries about the possibility that President Joe Biden knew more about Hunter Biden’s questionable business transactions than had previously been revealed at the White House press conference last Friday. During the briefing, John Kirby, the White House spokesperson, was challenged with this new information.
Kirby walked off the stage without saying anything.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for the White House, failed to respond to inquiries on Joe Biden’s role in his son’s business affairs. She continued to maintain that “nothing has changed.”
So they’ve gone from denying that the laptop even exists to blaming Hunter’s “horrible addiction” to refusing to comment and just attempting to keep Joe Biden’s participation out of it.
It gets harder for the White House and the subservient mainstream media to keep quiet as more evidence mounts.
There is increasing strain on the Biden family.
