Homan Drops The Hammer: All Must Go!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Homan emphasized the dangers posed by releasing dangerous offenders back into neighborhoods. Federal officers are forced to take greater risks when apprehending suspects who are no longer in custody, he explained.

“So now what happens is now we’ve got to arrest somebody on his turf where he has access to who knows what weapons,” Homan said. “Now we’ve got to send a whole team out.”

The ICE chief also criticized what he described as “hostile rhetoric” and threats directed at federal agents, warning that political posturing and inflammatory language can escalate real-world violence.

“President Trump wants this fixed and I’m going to fix it with your help,” Homan said, underscoring the administration’s determination to maintain law and order.

Trump’s decision to send Homan to Minnesota follows a series of violent incidents in Minneapolis and surrounding areas, sparked by activists attempting to disrupt federal immigration enforcement. The unrest tragically resulted in the deaths of two U.S. citizens, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, during encounters with law enforcement.

The White House has placed much of the blame on Minnesota’s Democratic leadership. Officials argue that state and local policies have emboldened anti-enforcement activists, creating a climate that hinders federal officers. Attorney General Ellison, Gov. Tim Walz, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey have all faced criticism from the administration for sending mixed messages on public safety and immigration enforcement.

Despite the chaos, Homan made it clear that federal agents will not be intimidated or forced out of the state.

“We’re going to do our jobs,” he said. “And we’re not leaving until this problem is gone.”

The Trump administration’s aggressive stance in Minnesota underscores a broader strategy: enforcing immigration laws while holding local leaders accountable for public safety failures. Homan’s presence in the state signals that ICE will continue operations, ensuring that violent illegal aliens face justice rather than being released back into the community.
