A second former Minneapolis police officer involved in the death of George Floyd has been released from prison. J. Alexander Kueng, 31, who pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter, was released from FCI Elkton in Ohio on Wednesday after completing his sentence.

The incident, captured on video, showed Floyd in police custody, resisting arrest, and under the influence of drugs. His death became a flashpoint for debates about policing and racial justice in America.
