The spirit of the Duke boys thundered back to life in Kentucky last weekend, as a modern daredevil catapulted his bright orange Dodge Charger over Somerset’s historic fountain in a stunt that nearly turned deadly—and left a cameraman inches from disaster.

In a spectacle fit for Hazzard County, stunt driver Raymond Kohn unleashed pure automotive mayhem during the 25th annual Somernites Cruise festival. Behind the wheel of a roaring General Lee replica, Kohn floored the gas and hurtled toward a towering ramp built right in downtown Somerset.
Kohn’s moment of truth came as his 1969 Dodge Charger shot skyward, vaulting an incredible 150 feet across Somerset’s Fountain Square. The crowd of thousands gasped as turquoise water exploded in every direction while the iconic orange muscle car rocketed through mid-air. Fans cheered wildly, soaking up every second of the tribute to America’s most beloved TV car.
