Fox News Host Dan Bongino Just Got Some Amazing News

According to a recent Ad Week analysis, Dan Bongino is still the king of primetime, with his Saturday night program on Fox News continuing to top cable news ratings. It is evident that people tune in each week to hear Mr. Bongino’s smart talks and entertaining material; this is a success worth celebrating!

Dan Bongino, the host of Fox News, outperformed CNN and MSNBC in prime time with 1.19 million total viewers in the 9 p.m. ET hour, as opposed to 219,000 for CNN and 315,000 for NBCS. In a similar vein, around 8 p.m. ET, Brian Kilmeade received 1.06 million total views compared to 282 thousand from each of their rivals, demonstrating that conservative channels continue to dominate ratings, especially during primetime watching hours.

Bongino made headlines last month when he took time out on his nationally syndicated radio program to announce that he won’t renew his contract with Cumulus Media’s Westwood One when it comes due, effectively ending his show. In addition to the radio program, Bongino also does a weekend show on Fox News and a separate podcast. He stated why he decided to leave.“really sucks because I spent a lot of time building this and I love it and it’s grown on me.”

When business giant Rush Limbaugh sadly passed away after his battle with lung cancer in 2021, a former NYPD officer was approached to take over the time slot. He said that he originally didn’t feel worthy of stepping into such enormous shoes, however.

“I said, ‘No, I don’t want it,’” Dan Bongino first turned down the offer to speak on Rush Limbaugh’s farewell show, but after thinking back on that particular day, he changed his mind.

“And I changed my mind. I said, ‘You know what? I’ll take it, but for a limited amount of time,’” he explained.

With the advent of Dan Bongino’s program, Fox News has established itself as the top in cable news. The number of viewers continuously remains strong, and each quarter they continue to break ratings records.

According to Nielsen Media Research and The Washington Times, Fox News presenter Greg Gutfeld has cemented his place as the top late-night television anchor after attaining milestone success. “Gutfield!” has maintained a 2.1 million average audience count over the next two years.

“The size of that viewing audience bests both NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ and ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and also consistently trumps such cable rivals as Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ and HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ and ‘Real Time With Bill Maher,’” the report said.

Vox, a news outlet that is recognized for being more liberal, said “The biggest comedy show on late-night right now is not on ABC or NBC or CBS or Fox. It’s not on Comedy Central. It’s certainly not streaming. It’s on Fox News, and its name is ‘Gutfeld!’”

CNN is apparently creating a program to compete with Gutfeld’s irreverent attitude in an effort to take on late-night television. CNN is looking for progressive voices to fill the position of host as it aims to draw in a growing audience.

“Brass at the famously progressive news network have reportedly floated names such as Bill Maher, Trevor Noah, Arsenio Hall, and Jon Stewart, as candidates, to offer a nontraditional, late-night-esque take on the day’s news. Fox News has found success with ‘Gutfeld!,’ the late-night comedy show hosted by Greg Gutfeld,” the Daily Mail said.

With “The Five” leading Nielsen’s list and reiterating his position as a cohost, Greg Gutfeld recently made headlines as the ratings king of television news.

When Shannon Bream took over “Fox News Sunday” after Chris Wallace departed, the show’s influence was made evident last month when ratings soared. She has become a significant force in news programming thanks to her stellar performances as host, which have also strengthened Fox Network’s status as a leader in broadcast media.

With a 13% gain in ratings among 25-54 year olds and an outstanding 16% increase among the 18-49 demographic, Maria Wallace’s news program stands out in its Sunday schedule. These numbers demonstrate Wallace’s program’s success since they show that it continues to attract viewers of all ages.

“It’s been an honor to join the tradition of Fox News Sunday, and we’re all about bringing new people to join us in the conversation,” she said to Washington Secrets. “It’s a privilege to be in folks’ homes every Sunday, and we’re glad they’ve found reasons to keep coming back,” she added.
