Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund has come forward with a revelation that raises fresh questions about what really happened on January 6, 2021.
In a Friday interview on The Great America Show with host John Fawcett, Sund revealed that the FBI never informed him about the presence of hundreds of its agents embedded inside the massive Trump-supporting crowd that gathered that day.
This disclosure comes on the heels of a bombshell Thursday report that the FBI, under then-Director Christopher Wray, had 274 plainclothes agents inside the demonstrations on January 6 — a number far higher than anything previously reported.
FBI Agents Everywhere, But No Disclosure
A senior congressional source attempted to downplay the news, saying it isn’t unusual for the bureau to place countersurveillance personnel at large public events. But the source also admitted that, because the FBI has consistently refused to be transparent about its involvement on Jan. 6, the figure is likely to fuel deep skepticism.
