TikTok “Murder-for-Hire” Bounty That Sparked a Federal Manhunt
According to federal filings, 30-year-old Tyler Maxon Avalos of St. Paul posted a disturbing video on TikTok offering a $45,000 reward for Bondi’s death. The clip displayed a sniper-scope dot aimed squarely at Bondi’s forehead with the caption:
“WANTED: Pam Bondi — REWARD: $45,000 — DEAD OR ALIVE (Preferably Dead).”
Below the image, Avalos wrote,
“Cough cough. When they don’t serve us, then what?”
The video quickly caught the attention of a TikTok user in Detroit, who reported it to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center on October 9. From there, investigators launched a lightning-fast probe to track down the suspect.
