The FBI has revealed chilling new details about Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, and what they’re finding is painting an increasingly disturbing picture of an ideologically motivated murder.
FBI Confirms Obsession With Kirk
During an interview on Fox News, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino laid out how investigators believe Robinson had a growing fixation with Kirk that spiraled into violence.
“I think it’s pretty clear based on the statements of family members, friends, and some of the messaging we have on these digital footprints left behind that [Robinson] clearly had some obsession with Charlie Kirk,” Bongino said.
He added, “Charlie Kirk is obviously a conservative commentator. I think it’s fairly obvious to everyone out there, and there’s no need to parse words with it, that clearly this was an ideologically motivated attack.”
The Murder Plot Revealed
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed earlier that Robinson openly expressed his intentions in a text exchange before the murder.
