Far-Left Activist Livestreams Her OWN Arrest

Far-left immigration activists once again clashed with federal law enforcement this week—this time with the entire confrontation broadcast live for social media clout.

Maria Santay, a known anti-ICE agitator affiliated with the radical activist group “ICE Out of LA,” was arrested Friday in Southern California after interfering with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation. Rather than backing away, Santay chose to livestream the encounter as it unfolded, turning a serious federal enforcement action into a spectacle aimed at her online followers.

The arrest took place at a Chevron gas station in El Monte, California, where Santay joined a coordinated group of far-left demonstrators who swarmed the area while ICE agents were carrying out their duties. The activists attempted to disrupt the operation by blowing whistles and ringing cowbells—tactics frequently used by radical groups to harass law enforcement and alert others to ICE activity.

As federal agents approached her vehicle, Santay began shouting frantically into her phone while recording the incident live.
