Rep. Eric Swalwell — one of the loudest anti-Trump voices in Congress — is now facing serious questions about more than $360,000 in campaign payments made to a Haitian-American staffer under shifting and suspicious categories, according to federal filings.
Records from Swalwell for Congress and his Remedy PAC show over 75 payments to a man named Darly Meyer since 2021. The payments span categories like “security services,” “travel,” “car service,” “salary,” and even “event flowers reimbursement.”
Some payments were as small as $50, others as large as $12,000 — totaling more than $120,000 last year alone, with Meyer on track to surpass that again in 2025.
Meyer owns CYD Global Car Service, a North Hollywood limousine company offering luxury transportation. But a Fox News Digital review of California’s Bureau of Security and Investigative Services found no record of Meyer holding a security license — despite Swalwell’s claim that “Darly protects me and my family.”
