Epstein Secrets Back in Spotlight After ABC Report

ABC News is facing renewed scrutiny as the long-delayed Jeffrey Epstein documents edge closer to being made public. The upcoming release has stirred a political firestorm, particularly for former President Donald Trump, who this week supported the Justice Department’s decision to release the files ahead of a House vote demanding transparency. Yet, attention is once again turning toward ABC’s own controversial handling of Epstein-related reporting.

The tension flared during a pointed exchange between Trump and ABC correspondent Mary Bruce. Pressing the former president on why he hadn’t ordered the files released himself, Bruce asked, “Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?” Trump fired back sharply, dismissing the reporter’s approach rather than the question. “It’s not the question that I mind. It’s your attitude,” he said. “I think you are a terrible reporter. It’s the way you ask these questions.”

Trump didn’t stop there. He suggested that ABC’s broadcast license should be revoked for its coverage. “I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake. And it’s so wrong,” he declared. The White House followed up with a statement labeling ABC “fake news” and listing years of perceived missteps in the network’s coverage of Trump.
