Scott’s endorsement was reportedly sought by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as well as former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, according to the New York Times.

The report claimed that South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham had been in contact with Scott on behalf of President Trump.
