Elon Musk expressed his extreme disdain of the media to his Twitter followers on Tuesday night. The software tycoon used social media to express his displeasure with how recent news stories have been handled and presented.
Earlier in the day, Musk sent out his first tweet in response to one from journalist Leighton Woodhouse that read: “On my substack: Establishment journalists’ response to the Twitter Files is that of a profession committed to protecting the state instead of exposing it.”
Musk replied: “Why is corporate journalism rushing to defend the state instead of the people?”
Elon Musk tweeted, “Twitter should help make the purchase of Substack a reality.” In response, Wall Street Silver said, “That’s a clever approach aimed to increase his already formidable digital presence.”
“Would it make sense for Twitter to buy Substack and more tightly connect the two platforms. Twitter plus Substack creates instantly massive competition for obsolete legacy corporate media,” Tweeted Wall Street Silver
Musk retorted, “I’m open to the idea.”
