Collins said the day was risky, but Trump quickly shot back saying just one person died on that day: Ashli Babbit, a 34-year-old unarmed woman who was an Air Force veteran and a supporter of his.
“A person named Ashli Babbitt was killed. She shouldn’t have been killed, and that thug who killed her – there was no reason to shoot her,” Trump continued. “She was a good person. She was a patriot.”

I don’t know cheney well enough, but what I know about her is enough. She is a waste of human flesh. She keeps blaming trump for everything she and the rest of the scumbag Democrats have done. The world would be a better place without her.
Nancy Pelosi, as Speaker of the House is in charge of the Capital. She had the final say if the National Guard would be used. It has been well known and verified that Trump gave his authorization for Pelosi to use the National Guard. Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself for putting forth half the effort to investigate Jan 6. If she had, she would clearly see that no insurrection occurred. Just some very passionate people protesting and the Capital police allowed the access to the Capital building. One was wrongly killed and others are being wrongly charged and incarcerated. Cheney, don’t go away mad, just go away, you’re not respected or wanted to represent America.
Trump could only approve the Guard Pelosi and Bowser had to make the request, he couldn’t dispatch them to the Capital. I’m sure they would have loved to have Trump order them into the situation because he would have been violating the Constitution. Cheney should be a democrat because truth seems to escape frequently when they want to deceive people and give less than the full story.
