In one of the most bizarre moments of his rant, Lemon claimed the Bible verses read during the memorial were somehow “demanding submission” from the audience.
This is the same Don Lemon who was booted from CNN after telling millions of viewers that women over 50 were past their “prime.” Now, reduced to broadcasting solo from his couch, he’s attacking Christians for praying at a funeral.
You can’t make this stuff up.
The service for Charlie Kirk was one of unity and remembrance. Thousands of conservatives, including Vice President JD Vance and several Trump administration officials, gathered to honor Kirk’s life.
Sports teams across the country held moments of silence. President Trump ordered flags flown at half-staff. Across America, people came together in prayer.
And yet, Don Lemon’s big takeaway was to lash out at “Christian messaging.”
Last week, Piers Morgan embarrassed Lemon by replaying the infamous CNN clip that got him fired, even calling him a “dick” on live TV. Instead of taking a step back, Lemon went on the offensive against Christians grieving the loss of a beloved leader.
Here’s the real story: the Left can’t stand public displays of faith — not even at a funeral for a murdered conservative.
Kirk’s memorial naturally included prayers and scripture because that’s what he believed in. That faith carried his family, friends, and supporters through an unimaginable loss.
But to Lemon, this was “religious nationalism.”
This from the guy who spent years at CNN preaching about tolerance — until it came to Christians.
The Left started by attacking prayer in schools. Now they’re attacking prayer at funerals. What’s next? Banning chaplains from quoting the Bible because it might be “too demanding”?
Charlie Kirk spent his life warning about the Left’s hostility toward traditional values and Christian faith. His memorial proved him right.
On one side, thousands gathered in prayer to honor a young man murdered for his beliefs. On the other side, a bitter ex-CNN host sat in his basement mocking them.
Don Lemon has shown America exactly where he stands — and it’s not with decency, compassion, or faith.
If attacking Christians at a murdered man’s funeral doesn’t wake people up to the Left’s contempt for traditional America, nothing will.
