Disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon couldn’t resist inserting himself into the national conversation about Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. Instead of honoring the conservative activist’s memory, Lemon used the moment to hurl insults — branding Kirk’s beliefs “discriminatory” and “ignorant.”
Lemon, who has struggled to remain relevant since his firing from CNN, resurfaced Monday with a bitter rant that reignited his feud with conservatives. The ex-anchor blasted Kirk’s supporters as “irrational,” dismissing the nationwide mourning led by President Donald Trump’s order to lower flags in Kirk’s honor.
“Black conservatives who liked Kirk are ‘few and far between,’” Lemon sneered. He mocked the tributes to Kirk, claiming, “For the most part, people don’t understand all this – ‘what are these flags at half-staff for?’”
The longtime CNN fixture went even further, downplaying Kirk’s national profile. “Most people had no idea who Charlie Kirk was, by the way. You know that, right?” he said.
